Hello,

I am at present using a wireless networking setup with my Mac(Mac OSX Version 10.5.8) and the Belkin 54G router. . . i am looking to password protect my internet connection so that only myself & anyone in my household can use it . . .

I have so far went to network settings then selected 'airport' there is the network name Belking 54g then security which underneath states none, once accessing this it prompts me to select one of the following :

WEP password
WEP 40/128-Bit Hex
WEP 40/128-bit ASCII
LEAP

WPA Personal
WPA enterprise
WPA2 personal
WPA2 enterprise
802.1 X WEP

I am a novice to be honest and any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Ross

I suggest you go to the Belkin site and learn how to set the password on the router. Then you can set it on each of your computers.

Good Luck
