Connecting mobile to laptop

Hello,
i wanted to connect my sony F305 with my acer 4730Z/4330 laptop. the laptop does have a key saying Bluetooth, but there is no option in the control panel saying Bluetooth Devices. does that mean that its not in - built??
can i not use my Bluetooth dongle to connect the both? please help.

if you have a bluetooth dongle with the software drivers for your computer then there should be no problem in connecting your phone to the computer.

did you get any software with your bluetooth dongle or phone?
