Processor running too fast

Hello,
my laptop processor is running too fast and i don't know what to do,what can i do to resolve this problem.
( DELL INSPIRON 1525). thanks

how can you say the processor is too fast?

what i mean is that my processor fan is running fast anytime the is on. please what i can do.
