Windows Acitvation

Hello,
A few weeks ago my laptop got fixed and this dude upgraded it to a Vista premium. & when I logged in yesterday a windows acivation box came up, i tried typing in the product key that was on the bottom of the laptop but it didnt work , so i tried things of the internet to find the right product key but that still didnt work.
so i tried validating it and it was going okay til it said validate windows, and when i tried to right click computer for properties or go on computer and click system properties it wouldnt do ANYTHING at all.
Is there anything I can do? I cant be doing with logging off every hour.

hi there,

the key under your laptop is for another

version of windows ,it wont activate

you need to purchase another serial key

or use the older version

Hello,
You can go on microsoft website to purchase a Vista premium license or you can purchase it to a store.
