Call of duty 4 multiplayer not working

Hello,
Im russell and my multiplayer has stopped working also it says impx. multiplayer has stopped working or something like that I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling that doesnt work but I cannot think of anything else I can do anyone have a solution

this happened to me, plug in a mike and earphones, its a bug

i,m running vista on a sony laptop..

i didnt think it would work but it does

this actually worked.... I reinstalled 4 time and did what not and boom I plug in a mic its working

Try to reinstall your audio driver
