Acer Restore to Factory Settings Question

Hi All:

I have an Acer AS5534 and would like to restore it factory settings but it get a message stating that a "system restore will overwrite existing data on hard drive Hitach ATA Device" I'm not sure what that means or how it will affect the factory restore process.

Dear Sir,

This actually mean that you will lose your database, that

is, all your existing files. You can have the files backed up

if you don't want to lose them while restoring the laptop to

its factory settings.
