Disk Drive not working

Hello,
I have a Dell Vostro and the disk drive is no longer working we used to watch dvd's on it and each time we inserted one it would say that the country region is different and needs to be changed to watch the movie then it would ask if we wanted to change the region but only give us 5 changes after the last one was used the disk drive does not read any thing does any one know how to fix this please
