Windows Live messenger will not let me sign i

So I haven't been on Windows live since August of 2008. I just came back on it today so I had to re-intstall another version of WLM. That wasn't a problem. Now,Everytime I try to sign in,even with the correct infomation I can not get through. I dont recieve any errors at all or a pop message saying my password is incorrect. Everytime I hit the sign in button,It looks like its signing me in,but after about a minute or two,it returns back to the log in screen. -.- Its annoying.
