I turned on my laptop like normal and it no longer recognized any of my wireless networks can't even detect them. Windows says I need to plug in an ethernet cable. so I took it in to best buy and found out there's a virus in it and they wanted to charge me $200 to fix it. My laptop is only worth 400 so here I am on the net hoping for some Brains that can assist me please. I have windows firewall up, avast anti virus and spybot search and destroy on my comp is a Hewlett-packard presario V3000 model AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 speed 1600 MHz cache 512kb. oh yes I did a system restore and that did not solve the problem =/. The bugger seems to really be in there and since this is a newer system then I am used to I don't know how to track down the list of recently changed items to pin point the virus like I used to.
