Laptop sound card

When I try and play music on my laptop the songs will not play and Spotify tells me there is a problem with my sound card, it was working fine a few days ago but now is not. I don't know what the problem is or how to solve it.

Any suggestions or help?

Can you restore the computer from a checkpoint before the problem started?

Dear Harvey,

Xpcman is right, please get to All Programs> Accessories>

System Tools and select System restore and hence the

problem might get resolved.

I now have sound back on my laptop after restoring it
