New built computer

Hello, My name is Micky,
I'm doing a new built system. I put everythimg new into the system. The problem that I am having is it boots, the the tower runs but I do not get display on the monitor. The monitor is black, I do not see nothing on monitor.

1. reseat the video card
2. ensure monitor cable is plugged into the video card
3. ensure monitor is turned on.

Do you hear any beeps?
if you hear beeps consult the motherboard manual to see what the beeps mean.

Could be something is not put in properly.
