Hello,
My PC was on when we had a power cut. Processor fan still works. I have changed the power supply and still only the processor fan works. I took out the hard drive and connected it to an old pc and that is ok. Took memory out and got no beeps. Does that mean it is the motherboard that has failed or is there still a possiblilty that it is the processor?
Really appreciate any help.

hi there,

possible reasons after power cut have always been power supply, memory sticks, video card and mother board

since you already changed power supply removed memory slots resulting no beeps and positive response,

the last left is the motherboard,it can still be repaired by a qualified electronic technician, requesting him to

check and replaced the damaged electronic parts

Thanks
