UM08A71 9 cell battery (by Simplo) for Acer

Hello,
I purchased a new UM08A71 9 cell battery (by Simplo) for my Acer Aspire One.
It charges OK, power meter shows 100% battery charge, Power State: Online.
This is when the good news end. Computer goes immediately off when I remove the power cord.
It will NOT power on from the battery. It seams like the computer charges the battery but doesn't recognise it.
I flashed the BIOS and tried the trick of holding the power baton for 30 sec while off power and removed battery.

NO LUCK! Please, can someone help? !!!
