Hello,
My xp that me and my dad built about a year ago was working amazingly but recetnly when i turn on my computer the start up screen comes up but it only shows the procceser and nto the drives, it then just stays there. Thank you for help.

Check that the hard drive cable has a good connection to the motherboard. Sometimes the cable needs to be removed and reconnected.
