RecycleBin going crazy??!!!!!

RecycleBin ???!!!
hello, i have got xp pro sp2 machine, the problem is here that there are no local disks(D,E) listed in my recycle bin except drive C which means that whatever i delete on any of D or E local disks it's gono be gone forever since none of the deleted files are transferred to my recycle bin. so i am just wondered if there is any work around for this problem. actually i have got this problem on both my laptop and my desktop computer.
please some1 help i already have lost some files being deleted accidentally and not being able to get them back via recycle bin cuz of the mentioned problem.!!!!
i will appreciate any hint from you guys.
