How to recover pictures from 2007-2009

Hello, I put all my pictuers on a flashdrive and recently lost it and Im trying to go back and recover them on my computer. Can anybody help me please please.

At one time I was going to put the files of my pictures on a CD but it wouldnt download them so I cut and paste the file to the flashdrive and I lost my flashdrive. the files that were on the computer to be downloaded I just ended up deleting them so im not sure If I can recover those files cause they would be duplicates of the ones I had on my flashdrive.
