Wrong date on WhatsApp

Its hardly been a couple of years that ive set my whatsapp account. I don't use it anymore but haven't deleted yet.Now somebody noticed unusual activity on my account and noticed the date of recent about update is 24 February 2009 which impossible. Please tell me why is it happening so.
