Windows XP z better and it is more stable than Vista.
If you want fancy look and due to the fact that it is new then you may go for vista but if you want functionality, stable system (it does not crash all the time like vista) and an operating system that will allow you to have a number of free softwares (freeware) on them without any problem then XP is your option. Vista has not been able to support a number of freeware and even bought softwares since it supports the dual core or AMD64 processors and these softwares can not be taken to vista.
Go for XP f u want real work. F playn then Vista.

Windows XP is the way to go..
Im currently running windows XP with service pack 3..
Tests has shown that youre computer gets a 10% boost with service pack 3.
Windows Vista sucks big time...
Long live the people using XP !
And only ask me the questions! thought we understood each other... :)

Oh yeah I found my life in a lucky packet, so I am happy again!
