Wireless connection to new desktop

Hello,
I am trying to connect wireless to new Dell desktop, I have a older Dell desktop and just purchased Cisco wireless router connected to older station. I've installed the cisco setup on older station. Do I need to set up anything on new computer to pickup the wireless? thanks,

Desktops do not normally have wireless hardware installed. Do you have a USB wireless adapter for the new desktop or a add-in internal adapter card? If so you will need to install the software that came with the adapter. You completed the set-up for the Cisco router? ie logon to the router and set an ID and keyword?
