Linksys wireless router

Sorry to pester you again, I contaced my ISP to see what would happen if I reset my router, and got the following message:

You shouldn't need to reconfigure your router.

Do you think then it would be safe enough to reset the router, without causing any problems for myself, and that I will still be able to use the internet ok?
