Not detecting my formatted phone memory card

Hello,
i have just formatted my 1 gb micro sd memory card in my mobile. it was done by the phone itself without connecting to pc. but now the card cant be detected by the computer when trying to read it by a card reader.
could anyone explain what might be happened ? what to do next to read my card?

Hi there,

You have set a password on it,thus remove the password on the memory card from mobile then plug to card reader it will be detected.

Thanks, but i am sure that i had never set a password for my card :-(
Before formatting everything was fine..But now there is nothing to see instead of appearing like 'found new hardware' and no sign of its presence under 'devices with removable storage'.
What wiil be the problem and how to do with it..?
