Appearing ablack screen after entering window

Hello,
sir i have a dell laptop inspirion .1525,& i installed windows vista.i have one problem. i am turn on the system
then it will turned on i am selecting account and i can enter my password & it can't enter the account then the screen will appear black in color . but i can go to the task bar by pressing ctrl+alt+esc.please give the solution for this sir
