Device not Recognised

Hello,
I have a Hyundai portable disk and till last week it was working perfectly on my computer. I loaned it out to my friend who attached it to his TV and now i cannot access it on my computer, It just does not detect...I have tried to manually scan for hardware changes but no luck. any suggestions would be welcome...

Dear Mamu,

Please try plugging it to another USB port to see whether it is detected then.
