My compaq Evo not workin at all

Hello,
A having a problem with my pc.
when I put it on it does not display anything but unly gives me three tones.
I have changed the memory but it still has the problem please help

try resetting the bios there is a jumper normally next to the battery, turn off the compyter take out the power supply, move the jumper to the opposite pin, leave for 10 seconds then replace and switch on
