Cannot connect to my projector

Hello,
I cannot connect to my projector
The VGA cable is pluged and I pressed Fn + F3 to display but still nothing displays on the projector.
I tried changing VGA cables but still no results.
Please help on this urgent matter!

try to close the projector then connect the cableto pc\laptop and then open your projector it must be show the display
