BOOTMGR is compressed....

Hello,
first i had the "diskette drive 0 seek failure" so i put my first boot device to harddisk and disabled onboard FDC controller, as suggested on this site.. now i have the error message "BOOTMGR is compressed press ctrl+alt+del to restart" and it just keeps saying that over and over.. what do i do???

This should fix things - you selected the compress hard drive option

# change BIOS to boot from the DVD
# Insert the installation DVD in your system and start the pc above.
# Click Repair your computer.
# Then click on Load Driver.
# Go to Computer.
# Right click on the partition your installation previously compressed> Properties.
# Then uncheck "Compress drive to increase space available".
# Then close all windows to restart the computer.

Ok I have a HP mini notebook. I to selected to compress hard drive option. Now I am getting the same thing "BOOTMGR is compressed press ctrl+alt+del to restart" and it just keeps saying that over and over.. what do i do? Since there is no installation dvd is there any way for me to fix this?
