Hi there,
You can format it back as new when purchased by using recovery disk,if you do not have it go to recovery manager of laptop and create the cd or dvd.Then when finished with creation,label the cd by numbers and boot from it one by one.Feel free to revert back if you need more hel,give the model and series of laptop to make it easier for us to guide you.
