lost e-mails and photos Closed

Hello,
My name is Tina , Windows done a upgrade on my system and then removed it . I have now lost my daughter's wedding pics. and some very special e-mails from my son who is now in NC . I have a windows vista , I know they are on here I just can not find them . PLEASE HELP SO I CAN QUIT CRYING !!! Thank you
