usually this corruption is a sign that your hard drive is wearing out, coming to the end of its life. You therefore need to tread carefully to give yourself the best chance of preserving your stored data. Hard drives are not themselves terribly expensive, but there is quite a bit of work involved in getting the computer working with the new hard drive and I recommend you get a professional to do this for you.
