System Security Virus

Ok. I have finally gotten back to the net. The pop ups are gone but now any program i click comes up with the "open with" box. I do not know how or why the pop ups are gone. As far as I know I did not do anything special. I was able to download malwarebytes but when I click run....you guessed it..."open with". I can not even get regedit to open in safe mode without the 'open with". Does anybody know the next step?

Nevermind. Fixed it myself. For anyone else with this issue right click and open as an admin and you can get malewarebytes to run. So far the program has found 27 files with this virus. Also ran ccleaner wich repaired the open with problem.

Hello,

Following the advise in https://ccm.net/computing/windows/1469-show-hidden-files-on-windows/, I was not able to wipe the attributes of my files. Access was denied.

Is there anything else I can do to regain control of my files. I have a DVD recorder that records in .MP4, but I can only access (see) the files from the recorder. My computer shows the files (when I connect the HDD to the PC) but I cannot run any of them, nor can I copy or move them onto my computer.

I would like to clear the HDD of files and place them on my PC and watch them from there, but so far I have not been successful.

Hello

My 32 gb san disk memory card is infected with UUUUUU.uuu ! When ever I copy some stuff to my card after that files got courrept and named as UUUUUUU.uuu files so please provide me the solution !

Hello,

I have 32gb memory card. Recently I formated it, from that time whenever I tried to copy some files into that it was showing uuuuuuu.uu(many files). I searched regarding this in net. I found USBFIX. I press the clean option. event though the uuuuu.uu files are there. what to do, to remove those files permanently. A report was generated. Where to copy that one?...please help me
