Hello,
Please anyone help me. i can not install windows xp on HP Pavilion dv6000 entertainment pc. when i install i give message. that there is no hard drive.
so what should i do? i must instal it this night, in the bios ther is not sata-ide, or raid-non raid please help me, send me answer my e-mail, iligogolauri@yahoo.com or ilia.gogolauri@gmail.com

Windos XP install disk does not have a driver for the SATA controller that in your computer. Search this forum and Google for "slipstream" (the process of modifying your XP install CD) and 'nlite" the program that does the modifications. You need to slipstream a copy of the SATA drivers onto the install disk. I have no idea where to find the SATA driver that you need.
