Hello,
My husband has a relatively new CPU. Last night, when I rebooted it, it took very long to get to the point where the monitors come up and show the windows logo, etc, then freezes. This morning, I discovered that the USB ports will not work and I cannot get any mouse to work. I have tried all of them from the plug in type to wireless ones we have. He is freaking out since he works from home and needs to have this computer working.
Can you help? I am afraid to reboot it again - since it takes so long to load everything. He trades commodities at home.
Thanks,
Carol

hi! have you installed any new hardware recently, it sounds like a dodgy driver, try booting in safe mode then go to
control panel
device manger and check if there are any problems showing.
