Number '3' changes to '£'

Hello,

I have an issue with my Lenovo laptop. When I type the number 3 in outlook or Word once i press the space bar it immediately changes to the '£' symbol, if I go back and delete then type 3 it remains as the number 3?

Any ideas what I've done?

Hi there,

Have you activated number lock?If so then disable it by pressing Fn +num lk key on first range of keyboard after F12 key.
