IE cannot display the webpageClosed

Question

Hello,
I am on a wireless network in my house and my desktop and two laptops are all wireless.  My desktop is showing a connection to the router and my e-mail works (send and receive).  My other two laptops connect no problem, however my PC cannot connect to the internet.  It says Internet Explorer cannot display webpage.  I powered it down to include both my modem as well and rebooted to no success.. Please help!

I have been reading answers about this problem in other sections with similar problems. In my case, I tried virus cleaning, and many other options, but what really worked was removing entirely Google and Yahoo toolbars. That took care of the problem. I guess both are defeating internet explorer. Now my internet is stable.
