Page cannot be displayed

Hello! For a while now I've been having a strange problem with my laptop. I can connect to the internet, but when I access my browsers such as internet explorer or google Chrome it says that the page cannot be displayed... It also does this for other programs which require the internet such as Steam or Origin... I would think it's just my computer not receiving the internet, however, I can access the internet with the immersive browser just fine, so that tells me that it is indeed connected to the internet. I don't know why those other programs won't connect...

Any attempts to help fix my problem would be much appreciated! Thank you!

"Use a proxy server for your LAN" had been checked (tools>internet options>(connections)>(LAN settings). Unchecking that box solved the problems.

Thank you for your answer, however, the box is already unchecked and it still does not work... :(
