Internet icon restore ?

Hello,
the internet connection icon on the bottom right toolbar of my screen has disappeared
how do i restore it... it may have been the kids pressing buttons, i have done nothing else that i know off

Dear Sir,

Please consider carrying a system restore by getting to Accessories> System Tools and click on System restore.
