Problem with adobe files (.pdf)

go to Control Panel - Default Programs - Associate a file type or protocol with a program then page down to .pdf and change it to use Adobe Reader. You may have a rogue program that is associating itself with pdf files.

1. thanks a lot for the concern but the problem still exists.
2. once i click on change program and select adobe reader by browsing it just dosent accept it. however if i select word or any other application it accepts it.
3. please if you could or anyone help me out.
