Need 2 use my laptop as an internet bridge

Hello, I have a business and am going to a trade show. I want to figure out how to connect my cedit card terminal machine, via ethernet cable to my laptop so that I can accept credit cards at the show without having to pay for a phone line.

My credit card machine works at my shop by plugging it into the router via Ethernet cable. I have a Sprint wireless card for my Laptop and want to be able to use my laptop as a bridge (so to speak) to the internet.

Please help. Thank you.

I would like to know how also. I am sure there has to be a way.

Think you can try to enable Internet Connection Sharing on your laptop (with working wireless broadband), after that connect to your credit card terminal machine to share Internet access.
