can't open pdf file attachement Closed

Hello,
This is stated as the reason a file can't be opened...."This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel."

Did you download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader?  It is required for pdf files.

This was driving me NUTS!!!!!  After surfing forums, I found the answer:  When in firefox, click on "tools" / "options" / programs and then select Adobe Acrobat / or reader if you don't have Acrobat installed as the default reader for pdf files. 
Previously, it was Adobe in Firefox and THAT was causing the problem 
VOILA!!!!  Problem solved.   Hope this helps.
