Audio device curropted

Hello,
Sir,
I formatted my Compaq Presario and reinstalled it. however my audio files were curropted and were not installed. No sound coming. could you suggest any software that i can doenload freely or could you give any other suggestion for this problem.

you will have to download the sound driver from the Compaq website

Please click here:

http://www.compaq.com/cpq-country/cpq_support.html

Type in your model number and select your operating system

Start downloading and install the driver
