Norton 2009

Hello,
I recently downloaded Norton 2009. Now, if it is turned on nothing on my computer will work. Everything is frozen when I start it up. I can start it in Safe Mode and make sure Norton 2009 is turned OFF and then everything will work. What is this? I paid $40 for it and now can't use it. I am scared to uninstall it because I don't want to waste $40. PLEASE HELP!

If you bought NORTON call their help line. The will support their products.
