Vista won't load after factory reset on Sony

Hello,
Can someone PLEASE help me? I have a Sony Vaio that I just did reset back to factory settings and now it's stuck on the Window Vista screen. It is asking me to choose my Country and my language, but when I try to either type on pick from the scroll menu, I can't do it. Once I click in the box to start typing, it start to go haywire like I am holding down and arrow key or something! What can I do?
