Can i upgrade my software to match my os?

Hello,
i got genx scanner version 2.2.0 running well when i was still using windows vista.when i got my pc reformatted to another OS which is windows 7, i found out my genx scanner is no longer compatible with it. is there any way that i can still match my genx scanner with my OS without purchasing another scanner?.. pls help..
