Hello,

I keep getting multiple pop ups from vista saying that i have a malware infection possibily. It is also a virus.boot-DOS.V.1526 threat i'm not a computer genius, im not sure what to do. can you help me?

Ignore the warnings, they are fake. But this means that you are infected with a rogue or fake antivirus program. Remove it using a free tool called mbam. Just see the complete removal guide here.

After that, update your antivirus application and do a full scan of your computer.

Just running Malwarebyte will not remove a rogue Virus, as a matter of a fact the virus will prevent MBAM from running for rogues are self-protective.
