Phone works but the screen is black

Hello,
i have a problem, like when i turn my phone on it makes sounds and stuff but the screen is black. I dropped it in water like in October then it didnt work then suddenly it worked again. But recently it stopped again and now it works when i turn it on but obviously the screen is black. =(
