Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire M1610 and when I put in a disc nothing happens. Is there something else I need to do. I have Windows Vista. I don't know much about computers and the computer I had before I put a disc in and it worked. Is there something that needs installed? Thank you!

You may have a b ad CD/DVD drive or YOU may have turned autoplay off

When you turn AutoPlay on, you can choose what should happen when you insert different types of digital media into your computer. For example, you can choose which digital media player is used to play CDs. When AutoPlay is turned off, you are prompted to choose what you want to do when you insert digital media into your computer.
1.

Open AutoPlay by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Hardware and Sound, and then clicking AutoPlay.
2.

Do one of the following:
-

To turn AutoPlay on, select the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices check box.
-

To turn AutoPlay off, clear the Use AutoPlay for all media and devices check box.
3.

Click Save.
