Keyboard wont work

I have an HP with XP operating system and I recently reformatted it but now my keyboard wont type anything. The keys work but no type appears. I tried another keyboard and the results were the same. Can you help?

Hello,

Please to your control panel, add hardware, see if the installation wizard will detect you keyboard.

If you have a cordless keyboard or other Logitech device, you may need to reinstall the drivers with the CD.
