HELP! My USB needs to be reformatted?!Closed

Question

So i plugged it in one day and it says it neede to be formatted. I didnt want to because i have several schoo, projects on it but i tried anyways. I cant even do that and its saying Windows cant format it and make sure its not read-only. I've tried a few answrs i found on here but they're not working. i have no switch or reset butto. :[ HELP PLEASE
Configuration: Windows 7 / Internet Explorer 8.0

I'm not very sure, but i wanted to leave a comment.
Is there anyway to make sure it's not read-only? Which i think would help you there.
