No audio device found

Gud evng ,
After formatting my laptop which is a HP Pavilion 500 notebook(256 RAM and 40 gb hard disk),there is no sound found in the system.it is showing a messge that"no audio device found".bcoz of that i m unable to hear songs in my lapy.plz do suggest me something to get rid of this problem.
