you may have to update ure usb bus controllers drivers for ure computer
if you need to get them updated then plz visit ure nearest hardware technician and he will update ure drivers for u
or if this doesn't work reinstall windows
i recommend u install windows vista as it is more stable than windows xp and the windows update feature allows u to update hardware drivers
